All donations are made securely through PayPal. Contributions to Hunger Resource Network are tax deductible, but you should always consult a tax advisor. We are a registered 501(c)(3)not-for profit organization.

Your gift to Hunger Resource Network enables us to work and support agencies (soup kitchens, shelters. food pantries, etc.) that service those in need.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Each year, we receive and distribute critically needed items including clothing, school supplies, personal hygiene products, house wares and gift certificates. Contact us if you have an item to donate.

Interested in donating, but worried about liability?
The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act was signed into law on October 1, 1966. This federal law limits the liability of donors to instances of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Similarly, in 1981, the State of Illinois passed the Good Samaritan Food Donor Act that exempts donors from liability except in cases of “willful, wanton or reckless acts.”
