The mission of Hunger Resource Network is to help establish "a non-denominational network dedicated to the alleviation of hunger by linking together businesses, food providers, soup kitchens, houses of worship, shelters, pantries and volunteers."

In order to accomplish this mission, Hunger Resource Network will focus on on the following:

Recipient Agencies
If you represent a shelter, food pantry, soup kitchen, or organization that services those in need, and are interested in becoming a Recipient Agency of Hunger Resource Network, please click on the highlighted link and fill out the Recipient Agency Form.

Volunteers
Volunteers are crucial to the success, growth, and continued outreach of Hunger Resource Network. We keep volunteer opportunities posted on our website. If you find a Volunteer Opportunity that you are interested in, or if you don't see anything specific on the Volunteer Opportunity list and just want to volunteer where needed, please contact us by clicking on the following link - Volunteer. We also utilize Twitter and Facebook to broadcast immediate needs. So please register with these services and connect to Hunger Resource Network to be kept up-to-date.

Business Partners – Food-Based and Retailers
There are many ways for food-based businesses to be actively involved with Hunger Resource Network. Exces inventory can be donated to an agency in your area that will distribute it to their clients. Hunger Resource Network can help create this connection.

If you have produce and/or fruit, canned goods, paper goods, etc., we can connect you with a volunteer group to pick up and distribute these items to a Recipient Agency in your area.

Business Partners – Non-Food-Based
There are many ways for non-food-based businesses to be actively involved with Hunger Resource Network. One way is to get involved and set a standard for your company by becoming a group volunteer or encouraging your team to volunteer.

Many Business Partners extend discounts to Recipient Agencies that allow them to stretch their purchasing power.

Service Suppliers
If your business provides services that could be used by a Recipient Agency (carpentry, pest control, plumbing, etc.) and you are willing to supply these services at a discount or for free, please consider providing these services on a limited basis.

Businesses, including Service Suppliers, can notify Hunger Resource Network of your interest by filling out one of the Business Partner Forms or by calling 847-272-1700.
