Goals

There are food pantries, soup kitchens, and service agencies, both large and small with all sorts of needs. Building a network comprised of businesses, volunteers, and agencies with the goal to maximize donations to those in need is where Hunger Resource Network fits in.

In order to maximize everyone's efforts, our goals are to -

Use technology whenever possible to determine the immediate needs in a local area.

Establish the connection/network that links businesses, recipient agencies, and volunteers/volunteer groups in that area.

Use technology as a way for
-Recipient Agencies to communicate their needs;
-Business Partners and Individuals to communicate their available donations;
-Hunger Resource Network to publicize the needs and developments as they occur.

Develop and perfect a model that can be utilized and implemented in other communities.
